EnduroCo HiAce conversions

BUYERS GUIDE – HEAVY DUTY
EnduroCo is a trusted Australian name in 4WD van and bus conversions, with a proved track record in suspension engineering and vehicle modifications. EnduroCo HiAce conversions offer a factory-level finish without compromising performance or safety.

For reasons Toyota is keeping to itself – and believe us; we’ve asked – the world’s number one vehicle maker doesn’t bring a 4WD variant of the highly popular HiAce van range to Australia, despite an obvious demand for it.
Sure, buyers can choose from the factory-built Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, VW Crafter or Ford Transit 4WD van ranges, but many Aussie buyers want access to Toyota’s leading dealer coverage in regional areas, along with the industry’s best resale values.
That’s where Melbourne-based EnduroCo comes in. This company has specialised in converting Toyota Coaster buses and HiAce vans and buses to 4WD for many years.

The EnduroCo-converted HiAce van looks like a factory-produced vehicle, both underneath and inside the cabin, where switch gear is indistinguishable from original. However, there’s more…
Unlike factory-built 4WD vans from M-B, VW, Ford and Toyota Japan ‘grey imports’ the EnduroCo conversion incorporates a significant ground clearance increase and deep-reduction low-range gearing.

The EnduroCo 4×4 HiAce integrates components from the LandCruiser 200 series, including transfer case, front differential, unit bearings, lower control arms and CV shafts.
Pedders makes the EnduroCo 4×4 HiAce shock absorbers, leaf springs and coil springs.
Heavy duty crossmembers, subframes and robust steering components, manufactured by EnduroCo, complete the conversion.

The EnduroCo 4×4 HiAce has a full-time 4WD system, with lockable centre differential and low-range gearing; 150mm body lift above factory standard and a GVM increase to 4200kg, for increased payload. The vehicle is ADR compliant and Engineer Certified across all Australian states.
Optional kit includes: rear differential lock; snorkel; front and underbody protection; LED light bars and a long-range fuel tank.
Some buyers don’t need the full 4WD kit, but want some rough-ground tractive ability, improved ground clearance and payload capacity. EnduroCo can produce a greatly enhanced HiAce 2WD van that we’ve evaluated with good results.
EnduroCo 4WD HiAce conversions are trusted by mining operators, government agencies, tourism companies and everyday adventurers. These machines have been put to the test in extreme conditions and have proved their capabilities.
