Allan Whiting
Editor
Allan Whiting was trained by Volvo Trucks in the 1970s as a military vehicle demonstration driver and is a qualified 4WD instructor. Allan is widely known for his past role as 4X4 Australia Magazine's Technical Editor. These days the OTA website is his full time job and he is committed to sharing his extensive 4 wheel driving and travel knowledge with our website visitors.
Keryn Williams
Administration, Photography, Videography
Keryn trained and worked with training organisation, 4WD Off Road Driver Training based in the Southern Highlands NSW and for many years worked as a qualified 4WD instructor.
Darrell and Linda White
Product testers and contributors
Darrell and Linda White are the designers and former owners of the Tray-tek Campers business. The camper is a compact and quick set-up slide-on camper, now produced by Trayon Campers.
David Hosking
Advertising Manager
Outback Travel Australia's Melbourne based advertising manager, David Hosking, has more than 30 years experience in automotive industry advertising.

Photographer
Peter Whiting's Aussie Outback Images specialises in remote area photography. Pete has a penchant for bush birds and has photographed many different species.

Product Testers and Contributors
Simon and Sheree Martin are very experienced bush travellers and great product testers, they've become an indispensable part of the OTA team.
Tim Bowden
Contributor of Excellence
Tim Bowden was born in Hobart, Tasmania, on August 2, 1937. He is married, with two children and three grandchildren. An author and broadcaster formerly of Sydney but now living on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Tim was host of the ABC-TV listener and viewer reaction program Backchat, from 1986-93.
