Welcome to the March 2025 Newsletter

Our first task each month is to thank the generous people who have donated to the OTA website. We earn some advertising revenue, but donations are very important for us. Don’t forget that anyone who donates $50 or more to the OTA website goes into the regular prize draws that we will make throughout 2025. Make sure you’re in the running.

Our next prize draw is in mid-March and choices include driving lights and battery chargers.

In News we reported on the failed Honda-Nissan merger, the promise of Australia-wide mobile coverage by 2027, a handy Jeep initiative and the Everything Electric show in Sydney.

Our Buyers Guide – Medium Utes updates covered the GWM Cannon Alpha and likely AEB issues for updated D-MAXs and Mazda BT-50s. Next month, we’ll have a full report and test on the imminent JAC T9 ute range.

In Medium Wagons we reported on upgrades and possible AEB issues for the 2025 Isuzu MU-X.

Small Wagons updates were added to the GWM Tank 300 report.

Our Camper Trailer additions were Jayco’s 50th anniversary range for 2025.

Camping – Bush Kitchen was headlined by our testing of Gozney’s sensational portable  pizza oven: the Tread.

Camping – Power additions were EcoFlow’s new 3-Series Delta and River power stations, plus an innovative solar awning for campers of all sizes.

In Modifications – Tyres we reported on BFG’s KO3 tyre that somehow got missed when it was introduced in 2024.
