A wide wattage spread and heavy duty models for larger appliances.

A range of six Pro-Wave Sine Wave inverters was released by Projecta in late 2023, including a 24V option and wattages up to 2700W.

With models featuring larger wattages than standard models on the market – 1100W, 1600W, 2100W and 2700W – the Projecta Pro-Wave line-up had the advantage of powering an extended range of appliances, including high-draw air conditioners.

A feature of the range was a 200 per-cent startup power function that delivered a short one-second output boost, giving the required ‘kick’ to start appliances that draw more power on startup up.

All models were equipped with 2.1A USB-A and 21W USB-C ports, enabling owners to charge most mobile and portable devices. The units’ output sockets – single socket in the PW500 model and double in all other variants – were approved to AS4763 standards and were fully electrically isolated. They also had equipotential bonding, to S4763, ensuring compliance and safe operation.

Additionally, all variants featured automatic temperature-controlled fans, thermal shutdown function at 65°C ±5 and were EMC approved.

For ease and safety of installation, all cables were included.

Operating and monitoring the Projecta Pro-Wave range was done via an LCD remote that provided information on battery voltage, power usage and faults, while also allowing users to switch the inverter on and off remotely.

The new Projecta Pro-Wave Sine Wave Inverter range was backed by a three-year warranty and was available from leading auto, camping, transport and trade outlets Australia-wide.
