4WD MODIFICATIONS - ELECTRIC & LIGHTS
Narva has released a seven-pin flat trailer socket that features a built-in heavy duty battery connector.
Developed with camping, caravanning and boating enthusiasts in mind, the product is ideal for people who regularly tow vehicles requiring battery charging in the trailer or caravan.
The seven-pin trailer plug operates the standard stop, tail, reverse and licence plate lights, while the integrated Anderson-style battery connector delivers up to 50A of power to a battery.
This innovative socket and connector features a moulded hard plastic housing in a low-profile design that is compatible with the standard mounting plate on most tow bars.
When not in use, the connector can be sheathed for protection using a rubber tab and the seven-pin’s spring-loaded protective cover has side tabs that make it easier to open.
The battery charging plug includes silver-plated copper contacts to suit 8mm² (8B&S) cable.
Narva’s new trailer socket (part no. 82048BL) is available from leading automotive, transport and recreational outlets.
