4WD MODIFICATIONS - ELECTRIC & LIGHTS
EFS’ Vividmax 225mm (nine-inch), round VMDL-9180 driving light delivers a combination spread and spot beam that provides clear, bright illumination out to 500-600 metres, our testing has shown.

With a total of 180 Watts and 15,480 lumens, each driving light is said to draw 10.4 amps at 12 volts and can can be used with systems up to 32 volts.
Each housing is made from high-grade, die-cast aluminium with deep heat-sink fins moulded into the back. Adjustment and mounting screws are 304 stainless steel.
The Vividmax VMDL-9180 has an IP67 water/dust resistance rating.
Outback Travel Australia tested a pair of Vividmax VMDL-9180 lights on the bar of a LandCruiser ute and found them very easy to mount and adjust.
They illuminated our test course bitumen and gravel roads with exceptionally even light that had no blotches. We found their range adequate for most people’s bush travel needs.
The Vividmax comes with a polycarbonate protective lens cover, and is covered by a two-year warranty.
At a RRP of $349 each the Vividmax pair is reasonable value for money, we feel.
